Intensive interaction therapy forms an important part of my therapy tool kit. It is a specialism and area of interest which I have used in therapy since qualifying as an SLT in 2017. I use Intensive Interaction therapy, pretty much daily, as a key method in developing communication, speech and language skills. Intensive Interaction can be used with children and adults. I have found it to be particularly powerful in supporting developing social communication in very young children.
